The Thrunite TC20 got a refresh. Now available is the TC20 V2.0, which is a solid upgrade to the original.
Many (or even “most”) of the design features have been kept, but with notable updates: The TC20 V2.0 uses USB-C charging.
The charge port remains in the same place as the original, with a similar cover, but now there’s a USB-C port hiding under there.
Despite this TC20 V2.0 using the same emitter as before (that is the Cree XHP70.2), there’s a spec bump for the higher modes. The new version boasts 4068 lumens of output, while the original peaked at 3800. Here’s a rundown of the specificiations.
We still see the great Thrunite e-switch, which has indication feature, and also a hard cover.
In his review of the TC20, ZeroAir measured the current on Turbo at nearly 8A, so you’ll be glad for all these cooling fins around the head.
The Thrunite TC20 V2.0 lists a neutral white option, but for now only the cool white is available.
Also despite it not being included in the “included” photo, Thrunite includes a 26650 cell with the purchase.
The Thrunite TC20 V2.0 is available now at thrunite.com.
