Amutorch Releases the SD5, an SST-40 Thrower

Amutorch has released the SD5, an impressive thrower. We’ve covered some Amutorch lights before – they make a great value flashlight!

The Amutorch SD5 uses a Luminus SST-40 emitter, with a temperature of 6500K. While that’s cool, this does allow the output to be rated quite high, at 1800 lumens.

The Amutorch SD5 runs on a single 21700 cell. Because of this and the associated size, it’s a great fit for your “thrower carry” role.
